CUSA SEC GEN LUTA WILBERFORCE SAYS COMRADES SHOULD NOT GO HOME

Hello esteemed comrades, we are glad having
had a successful meeting with the varsity
management this evening. We came up with a
decision that we considered favorable for us all.
The Vice Chancellor together with the
management held a meeting with the lecturers
and came to consensus that all lecturers should
resume tomorrow 8/02/2017 at 7.00 am. We as
the students are urged to attend all the lectures
as indicated on the timetable. In addition, class
representatives are required to note the units not
being taught and forward to the Director
Academics through their respective faculty
representatives so that in any case a lecturer
does not teach any unit, he or she shall be
replaced by Monday next week. Dear comrades,
we need to attend our lectures for if we go
home, the following is going to happen;
i. We will pay a double rent as was witnessed in
last year
ii. The May industrial attachment will be affected
iii. There will be no graduation this year
We as the student leadership will not sleep but
only work to ensure that we are given nothing
but the best.
