ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE JANUARY 2021 OPENING

In an official communication made by the administration of Chuka University, Chuka University shall open on Monday 4/1/2021 and learning and teaching shall commence from Tuesday 5/1/2021. 

As indicated learning begin of Jan 05, 2021 for the 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 intakes. these include: 

1. Y4S1-ALL PROGRAMES INCLUDING MAY 2018 AND JANUARY 2018 INTAKE
2. Y3S1- ALL PROGRAMS INCLUDING JANUARY 2019 INTAKE.
3. Y2S1-ALL PROGRAMES.
4. Y1S2-ALL PROGRAMMES INCLUDING JAN., MAY 2020 AND SEPT. 2020 INTAKE
5. Y2S2-MAY 2019 INTAKE. 
6. Y1S1-JANUARY 2021 INTAKE. 
7. ALL EVENING PROGRAMES, CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS AND POSTGRADUATES.

HELB

The University Commented that all students who wish to apply for HELB loans should visit the official HELB Loan website to apply for HELB directly.

FEES PAYMENT

All fees are payable to the Chuka University Bank accounts. After payment, email a scanned Bank slip to studentfinance@cuka.ac.ke

COVID-19 MITIGATION

Chuka University will not provide facemasks/shields for students and staff. You are adviced to buy enough facemasks/shields because it will be mandatory to have one whenever you are in public, calsses or the university environs. Hand sanitizers, washing soap and water are available on campus. However, each student should arrange for their own medical cover for in-patient hospitalization. Chuka University will provide out-patient hospitalization. To support virtual learning, the university urges students to Bring/Buy Your Own Device (BYOD) e.g. Laptop, Desktop, Smartphones.

Hostels

The available Chuka Univeristy Hostels will be provided on the basis of First Come First Served (FCFS).  Off-campus stay are not included in the fees and should be students own arrangement.
