LEARNING WILL CONTINUE IN CHUKA UNIVERSITY DESPITE LECTURES STRIKE

The long long holiday for comrades extended from December till this moment due to the lecturers strike,has finally come to an end for the chuka university comrades.This has come in as a relief to most comrades who wanted to go on attachment and long holiday in may,however it's a shock for those who still wanted to lazy around.The VC through the CUSA president stated that learning must continue for the student and those who have not been taught so far,classes will officially be on from Monday,this was stated during their Senate meeting,held on Friday, 17 February.

This comes after Cs Matiang'i quoted that each university has its own way of administration. To this, Chuka University administration that required students to be in class while some of the lecturers still missed classes and this caused division within the lecturing team.

have assured that "learning officially begins on Monday 20th February 2017. The units that were being attended to are added advantage to comrades. They give more time to the ones that have never been touched and this shows that we shall move very first with the syllabus" Quoted Academics Director Eric Apind during CUSDA church service.
