Victor Inyanza alias Jontez as many of you know him is currently the finest of Chuka University artists. He is a third year taking bachelor of Commerce and doesn't only shine in the music industry where he has won various rap battles to become the best of Chuka. He had beaten the reknown Calismus Mtukufu in a rap battle as well.
He is just definitely the hip hop artist you should listen to.

1. What's your official Name and artistic name?

"Offical Name : Victor Inyanza Stage Name : Jontez Jibu "

2. How do the two relate?

 "Jontez came from my fans back in high school while "Jibu" is a name of a HipHop crew I once            was in sometym back, founded by SlumSanaa & supported by Ukoo Flani ."

3. What genre of music do do? 

     " I do Hip Hop Music "

4. Who and what inspires you most?

 If you were to do a collabo , which artist would do it with? 

"50 cent is my all time favourite rapper internationally. His music is dope. Yge lyrics, flow & instrumentals in his music inspire me most. I prefer to keep this to myself bt at the moment i'd like to work with Khaligraph Jones, he gat a skill much different to mine. "

5.  How many songs have you done so far, I know there is a lot coming...

 "I have done 4 officially released tracks i.e Shine, Uwongo, Em a Legend & Wanaume being the latest. All have been produced by Richie - G from ATL ENT who's known to have produced FemiOne's Pilau Njeri & King Kaka's Besha Shigana"

 6. Which high school did you attend?

" I attended Chavakali School."

 7. What challenges do face and how do you counter most of them?

The most challenge is to release a track in each month; that's what an artiste should do to keep in touch with the fans. Reason behind this is the hefty amount I have to pay for a single audio to my producer. It lags me behind. A lot. I overgo the challenge by utilising perfomances to entertain my fans. Atleast they can hear from me lively or get to know I performed at a given event even though I havent released a track for them in a given period. 

 8. What can you say about art and entertainment industry in Chuka University?

"Chuka University's art & entertainment scene is yet to grow as it has never provided a convenient platform for the talented guys & moreso doesnt have the hype required in the industry to make each student attracted and interested to check out the talented guys & attend their events. Art is not art if it doesnt pay. Thats all I can point out on that. If it doesn't bring food on the table, let it be. But lets wait and see this tym round, with Bosslady in charge."

 9. How many auditions have you attended if you can remember, what were your prizes?

"Have attended 4 auditions/Rap Battles outside Nairobi and WON all of them. I began with Talent Search held at Club Eagles last semister & Won the package prize that was Kshs.3000, went to Embu University for the Kipaji Night & won Kshs. 5000, later last sem also went to Chogoria Talent Festival and WON Kshs. 1000. It was an event organised by an N.G.O to promote talent. Lately I WON the Best Rapper at the recently held Kipaji Night at Nithi Gerish Hotel - Mitheru and was awarded with the packaged prize of Kshs. 5000." 

 10. What would do if you Chuka University administrator?

"😂😂 Thats tricky. Buh lemme put it like this, I would try my best to balance things up, both the entertainment scene and the academics scene. I think they are not balanced at per now."
