Online learning now possible in Chuka University
In the wake of the recent world squabbles with the COVID-19 pandemic ,many universities and schools have decided to transition to online modes of learning in order to clear the semester work load.
Most universities have already implemented this and are now offering online classes, among them, Kenyatta University and University of Nairobi.


According to a memo from the head office of Chuka University, all students are now required to enroll onto online learning.  The memo stated that KENET - the national research and education network and Chuka University's internet service provider had successfully negotiated  for discounted mobile internet bundle for Chuka University.


The internet deal is with leading providers, Safaricom  and Telkom Kenya ltd. The deal will go a long way in facilitating students with learning from home during the containment period. Students are encouraged to fill in a form in order to benefit from the subsidised bundles.


So if you are a student at Chuka University, and you are wondering how to go about it, wonder no more! We have outlined the steps for you as follows.

First, open the Gmail App and add another account - give it time to configure. Enter your email address as regno@student.chuka.ac.ke with your password being student2018


Once you have created your account, click the link provided for registration. Input all the credentials then on the institution email address input regno@student.chuka.ac.ke. In the field labeled student number, input your admission number.

On the rest of the input boxes, fill in your personal information and click submit. After this, go back to your newly created account and confirm using the KENET email.
