HOW TO ACCESS YOUR CHUKA UNIVERSITY STUDENT INSTITUTIONAL EMAIL.
If you are a student in Chuka university, did you know that you actually owned an institutional email?
Well many students are unaware of this and when the chance to sign up for the online KENET online classes came many were left perplexed as they did not know if they even had one.

In order to clarify matters on this, Chuka University Arena decided to help out fellow comrades clear the doubt.
So when you are given a registration number when admitted, the ICT team actually grants you an institutional email. How so? and has this been the case?
Actually no, this institutional emails only came into play when the Eduroam Wi-Fi access points were installed around the campus. This meant students needed a unique username and a password to sign in to the Eduroam network. This means the institutional emails have only been in existence since 2018.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR INSTITUTIONAL EMAIL.
Step 1.
Go to your email settings.
Step 2.
Add account.
Step 3.
Select on google. account.
N/B you're not creating an account but adding an existing one.
Email or phone.
Enter reg no@student.Chuka.ac.ke
E.g
bb6.27130.16@student.chuka.ac.ke
Step 4.
Click next button which is at the right bottom of your phone.
Step 5.
Password.
Enter
student2018
Step 6.
Agree with terms and policies of google then account will be successful you can change your password if possible.
After that. You click on the link of Kenet( This is the link that KENET had sent to try and sign up to the KENET account.)
This one is to enable you start accessing cheap data from the service providers during the period of e-learning.
Just fill in the required info.
In the part labeled Institution email.
Input Reg no@ student.Chuka.ac.ke
N/B

NB: If you had already signed up already it is possible to recover your student account by Clicking forgot password whereby a recovery code will be sent to a mobile number of your choice.
You can then reset your password and confirm your password after which the student email will be added automatically.
